Double-hand Poker is a modern game with ancient ancestry. Based on the ancient Chinese tile game and the modern American version of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the east with the western in an awesome game for new players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler against the croupier, unlike the majority of other poker games that players compete against other players. By competing against the dealer, beginner players don’t need to fret about any other, more experienced people taking their money.
One more Pai Gow advantage is the fairly leisurely game pace, newcomers can take their time and scheme without having to make frenzied choices.
It is also easier to enjoy for a long time with only a small bit of cash since, to not win, each of your hands needs to be lower than each of the houses hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the customary 52-card common deck and a single joker. The gambler is dealt seven cards faces showing and the croupier gets 7 cards faces hidden.
A 5 card hand and one two card hand need to be made from the 7 cards, the five card hand must be stronger than the two card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand values to be better than the dealer’s.
