Pai Gow Poker Game Rules

Let’s learn a various kind of poker other than Texas holdem, 5 card stud, five card draw and Omaha Hold’em. Yes, pai-gow poker. Now you must be wondering that pai-gow sounds a little Chinese; yes you are right this game is a combination of the Chinese casino game pai-gow and our very own Yankee poker. Definitely this is not 1 of the most well-liked types of poker but still it’s widely bet. It could be bet by up to seven gamblers.

It’s played with 1 deck of fifty two cards, plus a joker. Oddly enough, the joker can be employed only as an ace, to finish a straight, a flush, a straight flush, or a royal flush. The crucial element here to remember is other than the normal ranking of hands we have one more succeeding hand that’s "Five Aces" (five aces which includes the joker). Surprisingly, 5 aces beat all other hands which includes royal flush.

Each and every player is dealt seven cards. The cards are organized to make 2 hands; a two card hand and a 5 card hand. The five card hand has to rank greater or be equal to the 2 card hand. Lastly each of your hands must rank greater than both of your competitors hands (both five and two card hands). Further the 2 card hand can only have two combinations; one pair and high card.

Soon after the cards are organized in to 2 hands, they are placed on the table face down. As soon as you lay them down, you may no longer touch them. The croupier will turn over their cards and make their hands. Each players hand is in comparison to the dealer’s hands. If the gambler wins 1 hand and manages to lose the other, this is identified as "push" and no money is exchanged. If croupier wins both hands then they captures the gamblers wager and the opposite way round. Now what if there is a tie, the only edge with the croupier here is he/she is victorious on all ties.

Following the hand is played, the next person clock-wise becomes the croupier and the subsequent hand is bet. The big disadvantage to this game is that there’s no talent involved and you rely too much on fortune. Also the chances are inadequate compared to playing with a pot.
