Pai Gow Poker is a current game with old origins. Founded on the ancient Chinese domino game and the modern American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the eastern with the western in a fantastic game for new players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player against the dealer, unlike nearly all other poker games that players wager with other players. By betting against the dealer, beginning players do not have to worry about any other, more advanced players taking their cash.
An additional Pai Gow edge is the relatively slow game play, rookies are able to take their time and plan without needing to make quick selections.
It’s also simpler to gamble on for a very long time with only a little amount of money since, to not win, both of your hands has to be lower than each of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the familiar 52-card common deck and a single joker. The player is dealt seven cards faces showing and the casino is dealt 7 cards face down.
A five card hand and a two card hand have to be put together from the 7 cards, the five card hand must be better than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand values to be higher than the houses.
