Internet poker has become globally famous lately, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, stretches back in fact a bit farther than its television ratings. Over the years several types on the first poker game have been created, including a few games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely related to twenty-one than long-standing poker, in that the players bet against the house instead of each other. The succeeding hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is little conniving or other kinds of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up before the dealer saying "No further wagers." At that moment, both you and the house and of course all of the different gamblers receive five cards each. After you have observed your hand and the dealer’s first card, you must either make a call bet or accede. The call bet’s amount is on same level to your original bet, which means that the stakes will have doubled. Abandoning means that your wager goes instantaneously to the dealer. After the bet comes the showdown. If the casino doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your bet is returned, plus a sum equal to the ante. If the casino does have ace/king or greater, you win if your hand is greater than the casino’s hand. The bank pays chips equal to your initial bet and fixed expectations on your call bet. These expectations are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- two to one for two pairs
- three to one for 3 of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- 20-1 for a four of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
