Amateurs Strategy for Pai Gow Poker

Double-hand Poker is a modern game with old ancestry. Founded on the ancient Chinese domino game and the modern American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the far east with the wild west in a wonderful game for new gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player against the croupier, not like most other poker games that players play against other players. By wagering against the dealer, beginner players do not need to fret about other, more advanced individuals taking their cash.

An additional Pai Gow edge is the generally leisurely game play, beginners should be able to take their time and plan without having to make frenzied decisions.

It is also much simpler to play for a long time with just a little amount of cash since, to lose, both of your hands needs to be lower than both of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the regular 52-card standard deck and one joker. The gambler is given seven cards faces showing and the croupier is given seven cards faces hidden.

A 5 card hand and one two card hand have to be put together from the seven cards, the five card hand must be stronger than the two card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be better than the casino’s.
